I dont call you as much, part 2: a poem
Don't take it personal,
but I'm not afraid anymore.
I know myself enough to know,
that I shouldn't be listed as
an option.
I am only human,
but a human.
You can only catch me
in the obscure view
of the jumbotron.
I am in aloof-hood,
driving with a
smile on my face.
For when I pick
your call,
there will be
nothing to discuss.
My silence says
enough.
"Last in line."
Remember?
Am I in the front now?
It's cool.
It really is.
I rather be
secretly adored
under the warm blanket
of assurance.
Please don't take it personal.
I don't have anything to say.
Enjoy the gift
to breathe another day.
Cheers.
