Look at the sky: a poem
Look at the sky.
What do you see?
Over there!
I see a dozen roses,
blooming to the winds
of the west.
Good thing you brought your
jacket.
I would have offered mine,
but it feels good today
so I didn't bother.
What do you see?
Over there!
I see a dozen roses,
blooming to the winds
of the west.
Good thing you brought your
jacket.
I would have offered mine,
but it feels good today
so I didn't bother.

What were we saying?
Oh yes.
I try not to stare into your eyes
too much,
wouldn't want to be lost.
I want to be grounded
enough.
Oh yes.
I try not to stare into your eyes
too much,
wouldn't want to be lost.
I want to be grounded
enough.

For when I ask you.
Will you share the world with me?
I already know the answer,
but I want to be formal.
Let's face this thing together.
The sky.
Shall we?
Will you share the world with me?
I already know the answer,
but I want to be formal.
Let's face this thing together.
The sky.
Shall we?
