Down under: a poem
Now that that tides are turning,
We need to talk.
Talk about how
deep the puddle is getting.
The water is cold,
and i'm sensitive.
There's treasure at the bottom of
this ocean.
Valuable enough to drown.
So tell me.
When the tides shift,
will you blow the whistle?
Will you panic?
Would you jump in and save me?
Let me know now.
Before I dive in.
My life is on the line,
but I want your cooperation.
Will you give me your all?
We need to talk.
Talk about how
deep the puddle is getting.
The water is cold,
and i'm sensitive.
There's treasure at the bottom of
this ocean.
Valuable enough to drown.
So tell me.
When the tides shift,
will you blow the whistle?
Will you panic?
Would you jump in and save me?
Let me know now.
Before I dive in.
My life is on the line,
but I want your cooperation.
Will you give me your all?

Honey.
It's daybreak.
The air is warm,
lovely when you are next to me.
And I made it.
While I was down,
I saw a sparkling necklace.
It reminded me of your eyes.
The way they light up when you see me.
So I stood under a little longer,
to grab it on the way back up.
So it can graze your neck,
and sparkle with your matching
smile.

I see
the sun has kissed your face,
before I did.
As least it kept you company
as you patiently waited
for my return.
My heart was weak down under
put pumped stronger for you.
It wants to beat right next to yours.
All it needs is
sixty seconds of unison.
My breathe is heavy,
but after resting my head
on your shoulder.
I can sleep.
before I did.
As least it kept you company
as you patiently waited
for my return.
My heart was weak down under
put pumped stronger for you.
It wants to beat right next to yours.
All it needs is
sixty seconds of unison.
My breathe is heavy,
but after resting my head
on your shoulder.
I can sleep.
