what I want: a poem
Valentines Day is around the corner.
How can I send something to you?
I want nothing but your love & loyalty.
Spoil me rotten.
Once we convene, then a dozen roses will not hurt.
Perhaps an ice cream date, as we try all of the flavors
and end up choosing Vanilla.
We can walk outside to the park.
I rest my head on your shoulder
And we talk about the future.
You sing a love song
As I hum in harmony.
I rest my hand on yours
You grab and hold it tightly.
I giggle and you ask
Why are you laughing
I laugh and say
I'm finally safe.
Finally safe. This was an awesome read! xx
